Operations Manager - vendor management (St. Louis, MO)

Bluepeak Hollow Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in St. Louis with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
