Operations Manager - vendor management (Spokane, WA)

Summit Kestrel Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
