Operations Manager - vendor management (Spokane, WA)

Cedar West Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Spokane with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
