Operations Manager - vendor management (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Wren Energy and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 566 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
