Operations Manager - vendor management (Savannah, GA)

Lumen Ashton Facilities is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for contractor visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
