Operations Manager - vendor management (San Jose, CA)

Clearpath Cross Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around San Jose, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
