Operations Manager - vendor management (San Diego, CA)

Fernwood Iron Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the San Diego region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with warranty claims. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
