Operations Manager - vendor management (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Meridian Facilities and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for cleaning schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
