Operations Manager - vendor management (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Cross Facilities Group cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around San Antonio, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for safety inspections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with supply orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
