Operations Manager - vendor management (Salt Lake City, UT)

Highbridge Umber Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Salt Lake City. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 631 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
