Operations Manager - vendor management (Sacramento, CA)

Silverline Haven Construction Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
