Operations Manager - vendor management (Sacramento, CA)

Cedar Beacon Manufacturing Associates is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
