Operations Manager - vendor management (Sacramento, CA)

Silverline Fox Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
