Operations Manager - vendor management (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Pike Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
