Operations Manager - vendor management (Richmond, VA)

Foxglove Sparrow Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Richmond region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 282 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
