Operations Manager - vendor management (Richmond, VA)

Summit Hollow Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Richmond region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for usage data and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
