Operations Manager - vendor management (Richmond, VA)

Redstone Keystone Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Richmond, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 89 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for hardship programmes and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
