Operations Manager - vendor management (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Field Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for parts orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
