Operations Manager - vendor management (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Ashton Environmental Services Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
