Operations Manager - vendor management (Reno, NV)

Redstone Clear Freight Group is a Reno logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Reno. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
