Operations Manager - vendor management (Reno, NV)

Bright Field Manufacturing Partners is a Reno manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
