Operations Manager - vendor management (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Nova Fern Environmental Services Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
