Operations Manager - vendor management (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Thistle Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for customer estimates and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
