Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Meridian Farms Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
