Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Keystone Farms and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
