Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Amberfield Holdings is a Providence logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
