Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Amberfield Glen Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for scheduling and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
