Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Highbridge Linden Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for packing house output, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
