Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Clearpath Glen Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Savannah, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 84 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
