Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Silverline Bright Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Birmingham. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service appointments and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
