Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Stonegate West Farms Group grows and distributes produce from farms near Columbus. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
