Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
