Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Lumen Amber Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for customer estimates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 145 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for customer estimates and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
