Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Lumen Union Inspection Services is an inspection company in Oakland with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for scheduling and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
