Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Ivory Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
