Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Juniper Foods Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
