Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Westbrook Stone Farms is an agricultural business based around Detroit, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
