Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Timber Construction Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
