Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Westbrook Ivory Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
