Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Highbridge Pike Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for parts orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for parts orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with warranty claims. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
