Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Silverline Quarry Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Houston, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
