Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Fernwood Amber Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Dallas region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
