Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Harborlight Willow Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Portland. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
