Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Foxglove Timber Manufacturing makes precision components in Toledo, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
