Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Meridian Farms and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
