Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Ivory Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
