Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Bright Amber Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Charleston region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer estimates and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
