Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Clearpath Summit Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Minneapolis plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 70 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
