Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Westbrook Mill Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
