Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Amberfield Linden Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
